"Making worlds is very hard and losing them is devastating." --Lauren Berlant
The 2022 Women's History Month theme is “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.” In that spirit, we focus our 2022 NMSU Gender & Sexuality Studies/Feminist Border Arts WHM around the theme of online digital connection. In this time of great difficulty and fragmentation—where most of us turn to our screens for activities as wide-ranging as work, entertainment, social interaction, and so much more—we created a multimedia collection exploring everyday practices of digital connection. Some of the everyday practices this collection explores are a decompression video with original “lofi” music, a copy of SJZ: Social Justice Zine, graphic wallpaper for phones and laptops, a task planner page, and other everyday digital interactions. Download. Use. Remix. Collab. Use #nmsugss and #nmsufba to share social media posts.
