About FBA24: The Feminist Border Arts Festival (FBAFF, FBAZF, FBAFZF) is an evolving platform transcending traditional boundaries of film, media, scholarly research, and creative practice. We present works from the Borderlands, U.S., and international contributors, spanning thought-provoking animations, documentaries, avant-garde digital storytelling, zine graphic narratives, and video art.
A Different Perspective: More than a platform, FBA24 is a confluence of creative practice and transformative discourse. We bridge geographies, identities, and experiences, pushing the limits of conventional storytelling and offering fresh perspectives on human rights, difference, and social change.
New Voices & Approaches: Committed to authentic representation, FBA24 showcases stories from U.S., global, and transnational women, feminists, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ communities, men, and collaborative voices addressing pressing social issues.
COME AS YOU ARE OR WANNA BE: Show off your best fashion – let your style shine. Strike a pose at our FBA Step and Repeat for epic photos that embody queer feminist Pride & Solidarity.
Enjoy light refreshments, including popcorn, throughout the festival. Each day will feature a 3 PM reception catered by Alma's Kitchen, offering a rainbow of mini-conchas for dessert.
Stay and slay for two days. Admission is free and open to the public. We look forward to celebrating with you!
